Hi,

Lately I’ve been getting daily headaches so was advices to check my blood sugars. Are these results normal? They were checked at random times over a week.
Before eating dinner: 4.6mmol
Fasting: 4.8mmol
2 hours post meal (120g carb meal): 6.4mmol

Please let me know. Thanks.

perfectly normal. to be sure check 30m and 60m after meal, should not go over 8. see http://www.phlaunt.com/diabetes/16422495.php

Headaches can be caused by lots of things. See your GP and/or an optician.

Also not sure at what levels symptoms would start showing.

Those figures look perfectly normal to me.

I doubt very much that high BS are causing your headaches. If they persist you should see your doctor.
