Are these wonder drugs?

I dont feel weeing out the excess sugar is a good idea, because it will make ur urinary tract much more prone for infections & thrush.

Hi there, I'm currently on the drug and can't rave about it enough. I know I get blasted for saying it but my sugars are now normal. I'm approaching the 20 kilo weight loss in 18 months and no urinary tract infections yet. I've tried most options available to diabetes and this one works really well for me

Just been prescribed this. To be honest my GP said that our local GP group etc had decided not to use this in the area I live due to the side effects but that there was a U-Turn on Thursday and as my appointment was on Friday he was eager for me to try it. Only on a short lived basis though as I am due to move onto Insulin.

There is currently a trail of this drug for T1s that is in process and showing good results (though long term T1s not so much as yet from the reports I've seen posted to the CDA)

the kidney drug they are recommending only brings your A1c down less than 1% the studies and results are on the net.
If I were you, i'd go on insulin if this LCHF didn't work.

My GP has written an URGENT referral to the hospital for me to see the team I saw that put me on Exenetide, to put me on Insulin, unfortunately despite an urgent referral I am still waiting, this is just another attempt to get my levels down while I await the insulin treatment.

I have been on this since April, I had thrush in the first month, but I am prone to it anyway, that was treated and I am now fine. I was told by the Doctor to drink more as I wasn't drinking enough before the tablets and he said I was dehydrated. I have lost 15kg since I started taking them and feel fine. The only change I have made to my diet is that I now have a smoothie for breakfast as I didn't have breakfast before. I even stopped taking it for 3 weeks in August as I was on Jury Service and didn't want to ask to be excused to got to the loo. When I was on Metformin I was terrible I had to plan my life around a toilet my stomach was off all the time and I was really ill. I do drink more and go to the loo 2-3 times more a day than i did but it is not excessive. I have no other side effects.
