I eat one almost everyday. I make hot sauce with my home grown peppers and I think I have a slight addiction to it with the avocados. YUM@Brunneria They are the lighter, smooth skinned ones. A decent size too. I am eating one with a spoon as we speak
Agreed. Pile it onto a hot toasted and buttered Lidl protein half roll and match the thickness of the roll with the depth of guacamole. Can't be beat!a thousand likes.
I only discovered the delights of DIY guacamole, with FRESH coriander/cilantro a few months ago.
Fantastic discovery!
The bought stuff is just... meh in comparison.
The one opposite the old gasometers is now open near the marketWhy couldn't it be Lidl - we've got several of them locally but no Aldi.
I like avo just peeled and sliced with a sprinkle of coarse seasalt or sprinkle of lime juice or got pepper sauce - or all three. Yum.
Where abouts????? I was there last week (market) and didn't see one.
Bottom end of Wheatley Hall Road where it meets Beckett Rd - used to be a used car lot.
There's one being built by Kirk Sandall railway station - the job adverts have just gone up so probably a few months to opening yet
FYI also this may be suitable for alternatives once aldi offer is gone. Tesco have started selling frozen avocado halves. I got 9 halves in a pack for 2.50 and they are large size ones, makes it about 56p an avocado. They are peeled and pitted also which might be of use to some
