b s levels

Hi....my bs levels were high last night over 20....I am on 38 insulin and 500×2 Metformin day and night. ..it was 10.1 this morning but 21.1 again now....I have had an upset tummy for a few days....could this affect my bs....TIA
 
Oh you must be feeling pretty rough! Yes bugs and illness can raise sugars.
Is your insulin a basal, mixed or bolus and have you been told what to do when numbers are high?
