Bariatric surgery has the highest rate of remission compared to non-surgical treatments.

Only problem is mine didn't nor any sign of it doing so. Believe me I tried.
 
Fyi I know you've had the op but thought you might find this interesting. And yes the surgery does trump the proposed GOP hormone jab?

What is the pre surgery liver shrinking diet? I've binge (sorry bad choice of words for anyone carb addicted) Fat Doctor and they all seemed to be on 4 pints of milk?

A copy pic of my diet needed is stating Too Large to attach so here goes with my bad typing....

Diabetic on insulin

Breakfast: 1-2 weetabix or small bowl of unsweetened cereal with skimmed or semi-skimmed milk
Or 1-2 slices of toast

Lunch: 2 slices of bread or 4 crispbreads
Small portion of either lean meat, fish, cottage cheese or 1 egg.
Salad no dressing.

Dinner: Small portion of either lean meat or fish.
2-3 small (salad) potatoes or 4 teaspoons of rice or pasta. Vegetables.

Daily: ½pint of skimmed or semi-skimmed milk for drinks or cereal.
1 low fat, low sugar yogart
2 portions of fruit e.g Orange, Apple, pear or banana.

Water, tea, coffee or low calorie drinks/unsweetened diluted drink freely.
Sweeteners are allowed.

No other foods should be eaten.
Alcohol is not allowed.

I'm on set insulin not carb counted.
See. Quite carby I think. Hba1c hated it.
