There is a beautiful moon here in my part of Darkest Buckinghamshire, partly covered by some whispy clouds and a lovely lapis coloured sky to go with it as I came home from my evening class earlier. Made me feel so much better
 
Thanks Spiral, I can now see it in my mind's eye. I think it's time to take the telescope outside again.
 
A telescope :shock: How wonderful!

My long term aim is to live somewhere not affected by light pollution so that I can see all the stars in the night sky. I'm leaning towards Upper Weardale and Upper Teesdale, but short of a lottery win at the weekend that is a long way off so my summer holiday will have to do.
 
i love looking at the sky, especially when its just going dark, imagining the different variations of clouds are the sea and mountains, ive always loved it since i was a little girl
