As you say everyone is different. I try and go to bad with a BG of between 7 and 8. I would hope during the night for it to stay in range and wake (in a perfect world) the same, but normally between 6 and 7. I would only treat during the night if falling below 4. Hypo's in the night are not great, makes me wake up really tired and with a headace. I don't snack before bed, most people on quick acing insulins find they don't need to. I would have a few wine gums if waking up with a reading below 4, or glass of OJ, that would normally hold me till morning.
