Berated myself unnecessarily.....

A trick from Dr Bernstein, carry some urine test for glucose strios and dip them in the drink ( fresh one's !!) lol
Or if it is
food supposedly low in sugar, chew it a little and put some on the strip, .

Yeah, I think I read that in his book. I've never tried it and go by the info on a label on drinks, or if I don't know then I just don't eat or drink it.
 


I've made the same mistake, I'm sure many here also have. As you said, lesson learned.
