hello for people who tried lantus tresiba and levemir whats the best one for hypoglycemia

The best basal is the one that matches your needs at the right dose.
if you are experiencing hypos, it means you are taking too much insulin regardless whether it is Lantus, Levemir or Tresiba.

The best is the one that works best ,

I tried all these insulins and didn't notice a big difference, the only thing is that tresiba can be injected at any time of the day, but it will take about 5 days to change the dose. I didn't notice any differences at all between lantus and Levemir. In fact, I felt equally good on all three of these insulins. Different people are suitable for different things, you may be allergic to some component of insulin or have a different sensitivity to insulin of another brand, but I always rescheduled the change of insulin without any problems (I guess I was lucky)

im 52kg i take only 6 units of lantus before bed yet i still get hypos everyday after 3-6 hours of injecting and 2-4 hours before next lantus ijection i get hypers thats why im asking so to keep things simple 3 hours after injecting hypos 3 hours before injecting hypers im sure its not my bolus

Are the night hypos really hypos or compression lows from your CGM?
And are the hypers due to your Lantus running out?
When I used it, I found it only lasted about 21 hours so needed to split my dose.

For me, tresiba is much more tolerant of delays in injecting it. For night time hypos OR hypers I tend not to trust the readings from a CGM.

i dont use a CGM i dont trust them i test the old way
