I am going to buy a new BS meter.
I would like one where I could download the information via a computer so I can print this out and when I get to see a diabetic doctor will be able to show my reading.
Can anybody recommend one ?
Hi
If you just want to log bg the contour USB is good but with the next you can also log carbs and insulin.
If you do count carbs then the Aviva expert is good as it comes with a bolus wizard and great way to getting used to Roche's meter if going on to one of their pumps.
They all do log books, trends and graphs that can be printed, or saved and emailed to your doctor/dsn.
Each meter has its pros and con's so hope this is some help.

You don't need to buy one, the meter that Richard suggested is excellent as it just plugs into your USB Port, if you ring Contour direct there send you a meter out free of charge, just tell them your type 1 and test multiple times a day.
I recommend Abbott Freestyle meters as they hardly ever go wrong and the teststrip needs a very small droplet of blood unlike the run of the mill meters on offer. My Freestyle Mini which I got years ago, still comes on and works all ok....
