Think like a pancreas tells you all you may want (and not want) know about diabetes and different ways of managing it. Focuses on both types, but mostly type 1.
Dr Bernstein's book is about how he manages his diabetes with LCHF diet.
It depends on what you need I'd probably recommend both.
Thanks Pauline, I know the damage as I have prolific retnotherapy and u know there could be worse to come if I don't give myself a kick up the ****, short term just to show quick results is there any advice I can find to help on lchf eating etc? X
I'm sure you can learn much from reading both books, I've not read the Bernstein book but Scheiner's book is a great read and one you can return to time and time again.
if your thinking about going LCHF then read the Bernstein book, Scheiner doesn't really advise on diet and I'm sure he just eat carbs in moderation himself.
