Hi, 2 weeks in and we're dealing with hypos- nothing major but trying to find out the best foods..... I'm right to think you get the blood sugar up using sweets/ juice/ glucose tablets? Then once better give a snack of slow burning carb eg crackers/ digestive. Today I'm sure my boy trotted off to the nurse in hope of a sweet!!
Grateful of any advise of good snacks for these scenarios!!!

Hi. Once you have raised the blood sugar levels, cereal bars (under 10grams of sugar) works a treat for us. Easy to carry around too. Hope that's useful.

After (4) glucose tablets to get the blood sugar back up, I swear by Nairns oat biscuits snack pack selection. They come in boxes, containing little packets of 2 biscuits (total carbs 13) in 3 flavours. Great for putting in your pocket or bag. Yummy, too! I get mine from Holland & Barratt.

Orange juice is another good one, I find.
