Best London hospital for child

Hi all,

My son age 12 just diagnosed type 1. Our local hospital has so far been useless as he is not meeting the normal type 1 criteria. I have seen people mention UCH London as an excellent hospital for diabetes in children. Am i right? Can i ask my gp to refer him there?

http://www.uclh.nhs.uk/ This is their website. If you scroll down to Patient Choice and click on that you will see what they have to say. Your GP has to agree.
