I have had days like that Mark and wondered if there was something wrong with my meter! My numbers are much like yours at the moment.
Hi Beshlie i though there was something wrong with my meter also so i checked with my spare i am just a bit jacked off because my bg has been around 4.6 all weekend, i am sure i will be around 5.2 after dinner, having 2 cod fillets broccoli and spring greens and a low sugar jelly for desert and maybe a couple of squares of 85% dark chocolate

I know what you mean Beshlie i suppose i should be happy it is normally in the non diabetic range pre and post meals, the thing is i felt really good and was sure i would be in the mid 4s not that i feel any different when i am mid to high 5s, pain in the backside this diabetes, but i am still new to this diagnosed in December with a hba1c of 10.4 6 weeks later it was 6.5, got a hba1c test this month and hoping it will be low to mid 5sHi Mark, I don't know why our BG can suddenly change when we haven't changed what we eat, but I have had it happen the other way too, expecting it to be in the 5s or very low 6s and when tested it is in the low 4s. I don't think it's always because we have eaten something we shouldn't.
