Only diagnosed last Monday, so this is all new still!
I am testing at home to see what food I can eat without my levels going through the roof..
I know weetabix is a NO for me it sent my BG level to 17.1 :***:
But my BG levels are still high even after cutting down the carbs :? less than 100g a day
My morning readings are between 10.1 - 12.3 roblem: and before lunch 8.2-10.5 roblem:
Am I heading straight for the Metformin without passing go
Am not an expert only diagnosed a few months ago myself
But looking at your readings sounds like medication will be needed I can't do it by diet alone currently on metformin x4 and gliprimide x 1 diet is really important though

You're right, had an appointment at the Docs this morning, even though she loved that i had lost 1.5kgs (3.3pounds) my levels are too high, and metformin was prescribed 1x500mg x 2 aday as a starter to see how I go she did say that it may upset my system as I have IBS also, booked in to see her in 2 weeks, praying that I don't get too many side effects
