I have stupidly rubbed both my heels raw (broken blister style). I'm normally so careful with my feet because my healing time is awful but a long walk and new shoes have had a bad effect.

The worst thing is I'm going skiing for 3 days tomorrow! What is the very best thing I can do to help them? Leave them to breathe tonight and then cover really really well for the full trip? Should I remove the blister skin?
Please help with any advice if you can.
Xx

I have always used Compeed plasters ,which are specially for blisters, they stay on for days and really protect the blister. Don't be tempted to remove the skin as this will make it very sore and prone to infection. Have a lovely holiday, hope all goes well

Thank you Catherine and Bernie much appreciated, I bought the compeed you can use on burst blisters so clean, dry, cover seems to be the remedy. Thanks guys x

I had a bad blister last week, two days before my first official 5k running event. I cleaned it, dried it, then stuck a compeed on. I left it be to do its thing. Didn't feel it on the run and took the plaster off this morning to find it completely healed. They are magic!
