Blister on left stump

Hi all

I have a blister on the front side of my left stump, which is weeping, and starting to smell

Is this just a visit to the GP or A&E .

A & E if it has started to smell. At worst it could be gangrene. It probably won't be of course but it may inspire you to get your wheels on.

Oh goodness, poor you, I think you should have it seen to at A&E just in case you have an infection going on there, leaving it overnight until you can get to a GP could mean that the infection can spread further.

I hope it all works out well for you, please come back and let us know how you get on.

Update......went to A&E, found bad infection. Blood test showed inflammation matter of 394.......should be around 6!!!
Result? Three lots of antibiotics four times a day and an eight day stay, but thankfully no surgery.

Home now, all infection gone.
