What I find helps even out the errors is with my clean hands, Prick, wipe off the blood THEN test! I found that the first blood drop flushed out the site removing the contaminants from washing. No I didn't bluetit, good thinking going to retest now but on a diff finger. Thank you!
Well if you feel well and nothing has changed diet wise .. Then I would say your strips could just be reading high .. I think you can get a free finger test at the chemist .. If you do that, you can estimate the difference of the two readings and then allow for this in your current batch of test strips. ( I had this same problem a few months back with my code free test strips .. My back up meter showed it was the strips not my blood !)Lolluckily porridge works for me.
Interestingly, yes they are a new tub of strip but unfortunately I don't have a back up.
That's maybe why it higher as nothing else has changed.
Feeling a little better.
First thing I do with a new meter, is to contact the company, and ask for a backup meter They are usually happy to do so to get my "business".Lolluckily porridge works for me.

Was it you stressing about a rouge reading ....! And that was keeping your reading high ?Update......
6.4 two hours after lunch so hopefully I'm back on track! Yaaaay
Let's see what tomorrow mornings BS reading is.
Isn't it sad that life and food intake along with your meter go hand in hand.
I would really struggle if it wasn't for my meter.
