Blood Glucose Reading

Then in all honesty I suspect your dosage is the main cause of your problem.
The idea of having a replacement for the cortisol you don't produce is that you mimic the bodies need for it.
Standard is to take 10 or 15 when you get up and 5 or 10 at lunch time. with the florinef in the morning as well. on getting up. Normal dose is between 20 and 25 HC per day. The body needs more HC first thing in the morning.
I metabolise HC very quickly so just take 5HC first thing to kick start but the rest is made up with prednisolone and florinef.

I'll try 10mg in the morning again then.

I was on 10mg am and pm, but I was so hungry and tired.

The 5,5,5,5 helped in making me less hungry and tired and my endo agreed that was best, but perhaps it's messing up my blood sugar?

It's all a bit of a minefield to me at the mo.

I really appreciate your advice

Hi Jen, perhaps you are also not getting enough HC. I know some people do three doses largest 1st thing then smallest no later than 5 pm.
I couldn't cope as worn out all the time so use pred 5 mg in the morning as well as 5 Hc. As I said in my previous post you need to go back and have a frank talk with your endo, as you should be able to lead a normal life with Addison's not feel drained and ill all of the time.

I think that is the right answer from your GP. You may have to regulate the carbs you do eat to stop the huge swings
