blood sugar is coming right down thank goodness

I personally have no problems with protein. I eat as much of it as I want to eat. No restrictions[...]

Good stuff. We’re all slightly different. Perhaps my protein tolerance will continue to improve over time, but currently it definitely has a small effect on my morning numbers. Probably not enough for most people to worry, but I’m super fussy

Well done! That’s fantastic. Definitely getting there now. I remember the joyous feeling of first getting my glucose under control.
Thank you I am rather proud of this result and in only two weeks .

I feel amazing full of energy my eyes are seeing everything clearer body pain is going and I am losing weight , i feel like a new woman lol

You have every right to be proud. It’s a wonderful feeling taking back control

So confused , 8.9 after breakfast no exercise , then had chicken for lunch and an hour walk just took sugar and it is 7.9 , fluctuating . Is this normal when first doing the low carb diet ?

Are you also testing before you eat? It is important you do. It isn't the finishing level that matters so much as where you started and how many mmol/ls you went up. The higher you start the higher you will finish. The aim is to keep any rises from before to after down as low as you can.

I didn't test because today i am hugry and had some cheese , the same before my tea tonight was really hungry and ate cheese and cucumber .

I don't because I am too scared to , so the testing i am doing is a big step forward for me, I am happy with the numbers right now as its showing they're coming down .

I do understand it is very difficult for you to test due to your phobia, but to be blunt, random tests are not really telling you anything and you cannot learn from your results. I suggest you try testing first thing in the morning, as soon as you get up after washing your hands. This is your genuine fasting reading. Testing randomly after a meal and comparing the levels isn't helping because each test is done following different circumstances such as exercise or meal contents. If you stick to testing your fasting levels regularly you will be able to compare them and see if they are coming down. That way you only need brace yourself for a test once a day. Eventually, if your phobia improves, you can try the before and after eating tests.

i will try, im feeling depressed today , don't even want to put the tree up feel like life is boring and i will always be on this no carb no sugar diet , nothing to look forward too, christmas coming and onlu eating meat and veg while everyone around me eats nice things, feel really down .
