Blood sugar monitor for use by one hand?

How many of us have tried doing a one handed test since this post?
@Rachox I did, although I used my right hand.

I left every thing in the soft Abbott case, the MultiClix lancing device loaded ready to go with my right hand. Fiddled a single strip out of the container and put it in the Freedom Lite meter. I did pretend to have a busted lower arm which I rested partly on the case.

I then picked up the MultiClix and got the release button under my thumb when I held it in the palm of my hand supported by the rest of my fingers. Pressed the button for a sample, then touched the blood drop to the strip in the meter.

I can see the reading through the clear plastic meter holder in the case.

Annette would be proud...

Edit: The finger I lanced was the middle finger of the hand I was holding the Multiclix with.

It's easy to take one strip out of the pot with tweezers, gripping the pot between your knees.

I just a few minutes ago took a blood reading with my left hand my right hand firmly in pocket a bit fiddly but doable with my accu check mobile.
