Hi everyone Im new to the site and so far an unconfirmed type two. My question is what is the normal range for someone without diabetes ie blood sugars, after a meal. Iv tested my blood sugar and its come out at 6.6 two hours after a meal.
Im waiting for a fasting glucose test to be carried out but as Im inpatient Iv bought a testing machine :roll:
The difference between a diabetic and non diabetic's levels is how efficiently they deal with a meal containing carbohydrate. What was in the meal that you just ate ?
Thanks Sue I appreciate your getting back to me. The drugs Im on for Bi Polar can cause diabetes and a recent blood test showed a rise in blood sugars but not enough to say if Im type two without the glucose test.
Fingers crossed that its not and a change in meds means it never will be.
