Blurry vision

Allessandra, I also had the blurry vision. I am very short sighted but my vision was blurry in long sightedness. I went to my optician and they thought it was due to cataracts which I had been diagnosed with six months prior to diabetes. My retinal screening came back fine and after about 3-4 weeks the blurriness cleared so fingers crossed for you.

I had it terrible in the days around/before when I was diagnosed as t1, couldnt read things I'd been easily able to read just half a day earlier.
Worst was at night after going out eating with family.

The worst part is I was in hospital (for other non-diabetic issues) - I told the nurse and doctor something had happened to my sight as I couldn't read things suddenly. They told me I must need glasses, despite explaining that 6 hours earlier I could read just fine.

I'm OK now (month later), but I wouldn't say I'm 100% of what I previously was.
