Re: Book recommendations / what are you reading

Great to hear what we are all reading I seem to have no more room for books and my garage is full of them lol can't seem to let a book go

Re: Book recommendations / what are you reading

Love Linwood Barclay and Harlen Coben. I know I'm in for a treat when I start one of these. My favourite author is Stephen King and I am chomping at the bit for his new one in the Autumn!

Re: Book recommendations / what are you reading

I've just finished reading the "Jack Reacher" series of books - I'd read a few when the film starring Tom Cruise came out and I couldn't get my head round the casting (in the book, the hero is 6'4"+, weighs 250 lbs and has hands like supermarket chickens...just like Mr Cruise lol).

Latest read is Dan Browns "Inferno". Very good so far!

Reacher is 6' 5", weird casting! I've read all the books from The Killing Floor onwards. I go for Jeffery Deaver, Robert Crais, Linwood Barclay, John Connolly, Michael Connelly, James Patterson, John Grisham, Brad Meltzer, basically anything that zips along. Not a fan of the classics!

Re: Book recommendations / what are you reading

I gave up on Hollywood casting agents when Tom Cruise played the Vampire Lestat in Interview with a Vampire. Got nothing against Mr Cruise but, apparently Ann Rice was thinking Rutger Hauger when she wrote it!

I kind of inhale books, so it would be redundant to tell you what I'm reading now. Needless to say, with a storage unit and a 5 bedroom house, both full of books, I was very pleased when Kindle arrived.

Have got the new released dvd - Les Miserables to watch this weekend .
Is it any good :?:

Also got a crisp new book - The CoffinDancer by Jeffery Deaver to crack open .
Have read The Bone Collector and The EmptyChair by Jeffery Deaver and found them both very good .

I love to try and guess whodunnit as I read , with all the few clues left in the plot

Rod Stewart was forever recognized as one of rock & roll's best singing group. Furthermore, he is also well recognized as an talented songwriter. Rod Stewart mastered the making of a exclusive and raw type by combine folk, rock, sadness, and country to no avail of even today.

Big Rod fan but never liked his American songbook material, his early years were by far the best!
