Breakfast at work

Oh they look interesting @AndBreathe. Might have to try that next weekend. I'd prefer something I can just eat at my desk because my most productive time is before about 10.30am and I hate not using it fully. But I think I'm also going to have to change my thinking that it is ok to stop and do something for myself for 5 minutes. But our servers run 20 times faster in the mornings before everyone gets there so I get so much done. But I think I could easily eat those walking to train

I think 10 mins is precious in the morning too.

But there is no rule saying we can't prepare things the night before.

Many ppl nowadays take a packed breakfast and eat it on the bus, train or at work.

Lots of food suggestions already on this thread that are suitable. My fave would be cheese and ham.

Egg Pizza
Make a fairly firm omelette with 2 or 3 eggs then top it with some tomato sauce.. ie Passata.. slices of cold meats, mushrooms, onion, sliced tomato and left over veg anything you like really finish with grated cheese and you can add some fresh herbs if you have them. Pop it under a grill or in the oven until the cheese melts. This can be made the day before and put in the fridge and can be eaten when you get to work either hot by putting in the microwave if there is one for a couple of minutes or eaten cold. Good for breakfast or lunch I like to have some raw spinach or rocket with mine

Getting up at 3.50 isn't normal and it has nothing to do with being healthy, OP can eat at work and eat healthily.
The reason the majority of companies work 9 to 5 is because it is normal waking hours. Even doing shift work it is important to eat at regular times and to maintain those times to remain healthy,
As a person who worked night shifts for 16 years I saw my colleagues who ate big meal at 2 am suffer dreadful health issues, you cannot turn night into day, brains and bodies work better during the day.

make tuna/egg/salmon salad with mayo at home. Put it in a Tupperware, bring some veggies and eat it fast before it permeates the room.

I struggle to get up at 6. Every single time my alarm goes off at 6, it gets snoozed for 10 mins! Ten mins are so precious when they're early in the morning!

Too right.

10 minutes at 6AM is an eternity compared to 10 minutes at 2PM

Torq is a tough guy, however so normal rules don't apply to him.

When you cook your sausages on a day off why don't you cook some extra and keep them in the fridge to grab on working days?

I made a quiche today that I can either take to work and heat up or eat while I'm taking my dog outside in the mornings. Smells so yummy and is wafting over from the kitchen now. Might have to sample it now for dinner! I did use milk and will try with just water next time or maybe cream and water when mixing the eggs. But it was quick and simple and colourful. Apart from the milk think very little carbs - just some in veggies but for me that's ok. I think I won't have any problems as I find bacon seems to be a wonder food for me that keeps my BG very flat if it's included.

Hels - I bought sausages from the butcher too but got a bit too excited shopping this week so they are in the freezer for next week and I'll cook them all up on Sunday and easy to take to work. I've started cooking rissoles/sausages in the oven. Spray tray, prick, walk away 40 mins - not burnt and evenly cooked.
