My teenager told me the news as I was going to bed last night, a talented man in music and only 53. Very sad. RIP

Tragic news, 2016 has been terrible year.

George's performance with Queen singing Somebody to Love was one of the finest live performances ever.

I had never really listened to George Michael before tonight but he had a lovely voice. Too many ballads though for me in this concert in Paris.

I understand there will be a post mortem. It's said too he was addicted to heroin and had had several visits to A and E due to overdosing.
