Broken nails

Did some bricolage and broke a nail on the big toe. Now I have a very short nail and the skin is a bit reddish when the nail ends. I'm quite tempted to go to my GP but if the advice is continue to put Betadine and bandage, I think it's a waste of time.

Keep a very close eye on it and if it is not healing or gets hot or sorer than it is then it's then definitely see the GP.

I had a similar problem went to DN got appointment tomorrow with podiatrist and diabetic team. what daisyduck says is spot on please don't ignore it.

Ok, seems that is healing. I disinfected with alcool and put a bandage on it. Now is all pink. The only problem is that the nail is now very short.

It will take several months for the nail to grow back to full length, that's if the nail bed is not damaged.
