Building Your Own Equipment

Already built the xDrip. Had more issues with hacking the G4 transmitter. It's a little trickier than Tim's website makes it seem. The HAPP/OpenAPS stuff is also interesting, although my coding is terrible so I haven't spent much time trying to use this. What will be interesting is breaking the bluetooth protocol for a spirit pump and replicating the signature of a Combo metre.

Many people have. The fact that it's in a transparent box with all the components on view & a sensible explanation,seems to satisfy the security people. I've done a couple of flights with mine in my hand luggage which was scanned without comment.
 
Nice! Ive had funny looks just carrying insulin pens before. Maybe they were just jobsworths though!!
