Type of diabetes
Type 2
A little over 1 year ago I woke up without any useful vision in my right eye, just overall greyness. I am 81yrs, type 2 diabetic known about 30 yrs. I have Diabetic Retinopathy, Neuopathy in lower limbs, Glaucoma and stage 3 kidney failure. Two snapped tendons in lower limbs and severe occlusion of anterior tibial arteries. For about 9 months the Opthalmologist could not see my retina and 3 months ago decided on a vitrectomy. I said I would try something off my own bat and began to use msm and taurine.
Now the blood has cleared almost completely. However the pressures measured a fortnight ago were L 17mm, R 30mm. I have had over 40 mm in time past. I went back to AlphaganP 1.5, Xalacom and Trusopt which reduced pressures to L 17mm, R 18mm.
My problem now is very red eyes some burning and some weeping in the evening. An comments welcome

Hi @1937dougal, I would suggest you consult your ophthalmologist. perhaps you are reacting to one or more of your eye drops, or there maybe a separate cause for which only she/he and similar specialists have the experience and equipment to examine, investigate and treat you.
