when I was diagnosed with type 2 one of the first symptoms was a burning sensation in the top of my right foot. I keep mentioning this to my practice nurse who is the only one I ever see.
She has told me that the meds will sort it. I still have this though. It's worse when I'm in bed when the sheets rub up against it. Has anyone any advice/info about this annoying symptom.

Thanks

Hi Andy, I had something similar happen to me last year. At night and in my thighs and down the side of my legs. I mentioned this to my nurse who asked a doctor and he said that it was my blood sugar normalising. Are you going through a period of better blood sugar control from an erratic period of control?
Mine disappeared soon enough, so I wouldn't worry about it. But definitely mention it to your nurse as it should be something that should be monitored.
