Bydureon once weekly injection

I have just been prescribed bydureon one weekly injections and I would appreciate hearing anyone's experience of this drug
 
Mine is not good.

I was given it for my type 2. I tend to google things all the time and glad I did with Bydureon.

I was previously hospitalised with Ideopathic Pancreatitis and my research found that there may be a risk of inflammation of the pancreas using Bydureon. I spoke to my diabetes nurse and after she consulted with the practice pharmacist she told me to stop using it because of my history with pancreatitus.

I was gutted because I really fancied the idea of once a week injections.

It's a bit of a faff preparing the injection but I guess you will get used to it. Oh and if I remember right the needles were quite big.
