Hi all
Blue tit mentioned in another post that drinking tea may raise your bs because of the caffeine .Does anyone have any information about this
CAROL
There is less caffeine in tea than coffee. You will only know if either of them cause your levels to rise unacceptably if you test one out with your meter. Tea doesn't seem to affect me with just a dash of milk.
I only have lemon in my tea and I don't think that it has any effect on my b g s but I have never just drunk a cup of tea and tested after 1 or 2 hours .The report seems to be concentrating on strong coffee but I would be interested in any more information if anyone can find any
