Can a diabetic eat boiled eggs?

Sure can. I do almost every day. Eggs are zero carb and a great little package of vitamins and minerals too.
 
If you are not allergic to eggs and are not vegan then its a personal chose if you choose to eat them or not - personally no
 
Eggs are fine to eat for people with diabetes, they do contain a small amount of cholesterol but eaten in moderation they are fine, I probably eat around 8 a week and my cholesterol levels are fine, if in doubt do check with your own Dr first.
 
Yes. Unless you're really worried about cholesterol then still yes just not too many (yolk is cholesterol loaded).
 
I understood that dietary cholesterol has little or no effect on body cholesterol as our bodies make their own cholesterol. Shoot me down if you wish!

I eat about 12 eggs a week, boiled, fried, poached. My cholesterol has improved since my diagnosis.

It's just something I was told which is why if I make a 4 egg omelette I remove one of the yolks. I always say, if it works for you then stick with it.
 
Eggs are great choice and so versatile too
Many many many ways to cook with these also .

Phew! I got a bit worried just then when I saw that question '" Can diabetics eat boiled eggs?" I have just eaten boiled egg for lunch and it was yummy. I don't have them very often, may be every few months or so and don't indulge in fried, scrambled or omelettes as I don't like them mores the pity.
 
i eat around 10 eggs a week

I'm impressed with everyone's egg capacities.

I get a bit egg bound if I have too many.
7 in a week would, for me have pungent and clogging effects.
 
I will poach an egg for dinner and test later .
 
I eat about a dozen eggs a week because they are high protein. Ignore any comments about cholesterol. As has already been mentioned, dietary cholesterol has shown little correlation with blood lipid levels. Eggs are a great food and should be consumed by everyone! (unless you are allergic when it might not be such a good idea)

And I remove one egg white of three! Too high in protein for me.

The yolks are magic. At least ours are, we keep chickens.
 
Hmmm.....I eat at least 3 eggs a day normally.
Usually 3 scrambled in butter for breakfast, along with bacon, mushrooms, tomato.
May have hard boiled later on, but not so often.
They are a very good food for T2 diabetics IMHO.

Tip - six large free range eggs for £1 at Lidl.
Usually buy them 24 at a time.
 
As long as you're not allergic to eggs, the anwer is yes. Boiled, scrambled, fried, omlettes, poached, coddled any way you like. I sometimes do a few tablespoons of peeled chopped tomatoes on a slice of ham, make dip in the middle and crack in an egg then bcke until the egg sets.
