Glad you're having a go at the low-carb diet. It will definitely help with the weight loss and blood sugar control. I've been eating this way for 7 years, lost 4 stone, and never been better.
Today's menu:
Breakfast - 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of bacon, coffee with cream (0 carbs)
Lunch - roast chicken breast, mayonnaise, pesto sauce, 3 sticks of celery and 100g humous (10g carbs total)
Dinner - lamb, aubergine & mushroom casserole (10g carbs total)
I try to stay below 20g of carbohydrates per day, and it works for me.
