Can novorapid act differently for each person

Signy you will see I responded elsewhere. Splitting your lantus should have no input on your basal testing which will only reflect whether the basal on board is right or not.
 
Total action time of novorapid can easily be 5-6 hours though it would be unusual to have a significant drop in the final 1-2 hours as it's very much tapering off by then.
 
I find lantus too suddenly kick in and work at 3.5 - 4.5 he's after injecting then it stops so I split mine morning / evening.
