Can someone please explain

Hi went to my go today I'm t2 and had some blood tests done last week to rule something else out!! But my Dr told me oh I've got some good news for you as well when I was first diagnosed end Jan my bloods were 77 they are now 51? I'm so amazed but is that brill !! My trip to see dn is coming and waiting for my first appointment can someone please explain thanks pauline
