My diabetic T2 sister got an ACR (albumin to creatinine ratio) of 15, which is quite high. Has anyone had high ACR and reversed it? Any dietary recommendations or personal experiences on this please? Also does anyone know what's correlation between ACR and eGFR as she didn't do that test so i am just wondering. Also her serum creatinine levels are within normal range, so how does serum and urine creatinine differ?

I once had an ACR that was higher than my normal by quite a lot, and the surgery asked for it to be repeated in a weeks time @finsit The second one came back normal, so I'd suggest your sister asks for it to be repeated if her surgery doesn't suggest it ( unless around 15 is where her ACR is normally).

What does her doctor say about it?

I think you'd better ask your sister to join the forum with her questions herself.

Only if she would speak English!
