I'm not sure if that's a daft question or not?

I started to test more often today. Every 2 or 3 hours starting at 11 am.

First thing I was 5.3. Then from 11 right through till 6 across 4 bg readings I tested at 5.8. Once at home pre meal was 4.4, checked. Got 4.4 twice.

Can your work push your bg readings. (1.5 points is enough to wonder) or am I just being silly?

Not silly. Our levels fluctuate throughout the day. The things that affect levels are many, including: excercise, food, stress, fatigue, infection as well as liver dump. A difference of 1.5 should not concern you as it is a fairly usual occurence.

No such thing as a silly question. What does your job entail?

There are many things which can affect your BG.
A couple of things which I can think of are work related - exercise (if you have a very active job) and stress definitely affect your BG.

Hi,

Well those readings don't look that bad to me. But i am T1. I assume you ate something during the day?

I see from your profile. You kind of work in logistics with "HGVs.." This could stress..?

Done a little "temp" work in long wheel based vans sent out on multi drops also in trucks & arctics as "driver's mate."

BG wise, lol, I feel your holding it together well.

Edit, it wasn't all temp work. Having a valid licence I got sent out in a tranny or Dub when a driver down..
It ain't natural for me...

Driving in Birmingham and the Black Country can certainly be stressful!

Driving to a gig in London once.. The Astoria. Was not too bad.?.

But then I got the "pizza effect" two weeks later, in the post when I forgot to pay the LEZ charge...
