While at the hospital last they mentioned 'carb counting' and informed me it wasn't as bad as it sounded. But can anyone tell me briefly what's involved? :?:

I've been on insulin for about 4 or so years now. But they have just changed the insulin to novorapid and levemir. A DSN mentioned it to me as a possible course of action if this regime of insulin didn't do so well. But no details were given
Hi and welcome! You really need a type 1 or other insulin user to answer your question. I imagine you're on some fixed dose morning/night so haven't needed to count carbs to inject for specific meals? Anyway, I'm sure a T! will be along soon, and meantime i just wanted to say welcome on board.
