Hi does Diabetes UK have an app where you can put it scan an item of food packet and gives you the nutrition values i.e. Carbs etc Weightwatchers have an app where you can put anything in and it comes up with the values!!! I'm waiting to get on the Carb Counting course as hoping to get a pump! I've already done the Dafny Course but we are talking about 11yrs ago! I'm a type1 and my brother was too, I've been T1 for 34yrs
Last 3yrs have been a total nightmare for me health wise lots of problems all contributing to my hba1c of 98
I'm going round in circles trying to keep sugars down! It's starting to take its toll now and I'm struggling to keep the fight up!
Thanks in advance
Kaz x
Ah not all the time! Weightwatchers have this brilliant app where you just type in what it is like say for instance mcvities rich tea or you scan it and it just appears there and then! I am aware that majority of stuff is on the packet just that thought there might have been an app! I'm am in Cornwall!
Have you looked at Carbs and Cals?
I know a lot of people swear by it.
I confess it drove me crazy and I resorted to Googling "carbs in ..." and creating my own spreadsheet. However, I cook most stuff from scratch and never found a pepper, aubergine, strawberry, ... with nutritional info stamped on it.
