Carbs that work for me

I don't do moderation - if it is a high carb food I don't eat any.
This is also my approach, except for exceptional occasions when it's too difficult not to eat something high carb. In the last two weeks I have had sweet potatoes once and two small slices of pizza a couple of days ago (first time I've eaten either in nearly two years) - very pleased to discover that neither seemed to push my levels up excessively, but I do find it much easier just to leave the high carb stuff out of my diet altogether.
