Carrot Soup

Is it ok to have carrot soup, home made as been told the carrots contain some sugar
 
I made carrot soup just after Christmas as I had so many left over and wondered what my reaction would be. I was pleasantly surprised to see a spike of only 0.9 after 1 hour and back to where I started after 2 hours.

You really need to test after 1 hour and then again after 2 as you might react differently to me.
