I was wondering if there is anyone out there that can help.
I work for a PR agency based in Manchester in the UK and we've just written an article for a client which discusses the link between hearing loss and diabetes (new research from the National Institutes of Health).
A publication entitled Sweet, aimed at people with diabetes is keen to run the story and needed a case study. We did have one but unfortunately the journalist writing the peice wanted someone younger.
I just wondered if there was anyone available who suffers from diabetes and has also experienced hearing loss, that would be willing to be used a case study for the feature. It would only involve a quick chat with the journalist over the phone.
The piece will be extremely sensitive and purely used as a way to highlight the issue. If anyone is keen to do this, please contact me asap.
