Hi guys organising a charity night on the 26th Oct to raise money for diabetic charity’s....I’m looking to put some quotes on the night of how you would describe type 1 diabetes in a sentence if anyone is happy to contribute please let me know..thank you

My quote would be “diabetes is every **** day, and all day long. With no breaks.”

Nicked from somewhere else:

Now my pancreas can't be a*rsed and I now have to do it's job for it.

How about quoting how many people in the UK have type 1 diabetes.
I am sure the number is available if you google.
I'd take a look at JDRF as they focus on type 1.

I'd also like to emphasise that type 1 can strike at any age: it is not a juvenile disease (unlike the name of JDRF).
This blog gives the percentages per age group - https://blogs.diabetes.org.uk/?p=5184

I have to make clinical dosing decisions every single day (and during the night) of my life with a drug that could kill me quickly if I take too much, and kill me slowly if I take too little - even doctors get a day off from having to do that.

Or in one word, RELENTLESS.
