Fed up with this diabetes lark. Have a good hb1ac but am just fed up with all the testing jabs and al the other side effects that seem to come with it. I have terrible psoriasis on my arms and leg which the doctors cant seem to get rid of depsite every bl**dy cream going and now have terrible dandruff to top it all off again that nothing seems to get rid of. They may seem minor ailments but they are really staring to get me down. Rant over ....not having a good few days :x

Cheer up - you've got lots of friends on here

Curlous,

No one will argue that diabetes sucks, unfortunately for the time being the only way to treat this condition is by injecting and testing. Other illnesses and conditions do make it all the more difficult to contend with, my brother-in-law (although not diabetic) suffers from psoriasis and has been hospitalised on 2 occasions with the condition, his gets worse if he is nervous and nearly had to call his wedding off due to the severity of it.

Looking at your signature you are doing extremely well considering the time you have been diagnosed, many (including myself) have taken years to get a hba1c as good or near as that, so you have made great strides in getting to grips with your control, but sorry can't offer any help or advice regarding psoriasis, but do feel free to come on and rant anytime you choose as we all know and feel your frustration.

Best wishes

Nigel
