Hi there, I seem to be getting mixed messages from various websites, but I'm following a LCHF diet and am wondering if I can put say 3-4 cherries in a greek yoghurt? they ar the frozen kind from sainsbury's no added sugar but it does have the name sweet in the description

Thank you for your reply, i will have a look at the thread and have me yoghurt!

I tried those same cherries when I first started low carbing and they gave me a much higher reading than the other frozen berries I got from Sainsbury's. Having said that, it wasn't a OMG reading but I've not eaten any since - they have a long 'use by date' so one day.............

PS - They were delicious!!

lol i had it in mind to proceed with caution and dont want to do anything that may spoil the diet, but they do look yummy! Then again, i have a feeling my yoghurt pot may have been in the fridge for more than 3 days **** and blast!

I can eat several fresh (sweet) cherries when they're available and find them OK, but the best way to check what any fruits do to you, is use your meter, and test. Eating with cream or yoghurt can help "bury" any possibly spikes.
