As a reformed chocolate addict, I decided to go on a low-carb diet.
Am only a week in, so not a lot to report so far.
I have recently discovered Atkins chocolate bars - very low carb, very low sugar & high protein.
They are pretty substantial & taste VERY good (have to keep an eye on myself so I don't over indulge).
Has anyone else tried them/have an opinion about them?
I've had the shakes and they are nice. I often have some 85% dark chocolate. Not as nice as milk chocolate though.
Another option is to make it yourself. I've made it myself. It's cocoa powder, butter, milk and sweetener. Pretty easy to make and tastes lovely. This is the recipe I used:
