I shouldn't worry about it now. You will probably look back on today with a smug grin.

Next time just make sure it's 75% or more dark chocolate then at least you can claim it's good for you!

I completely feel your pain and understand where you're coming from. I too have issues with chocolate. I'm really good for ages and then all of a sudden need and want it so much. I then feel so guilty afterwards. All we can do is try our best, we're only human after all. Or as mentioned above, the 75% or dark chocolate. But sometimes only the real Cadbury will do it for me. Dust yourself off, try again, today is a new day.

Finally getting to like the taset of 90% so I thought I would try the Lindt 99% - but wait. I picked a packet up off the shelf and it felt empty!

I looked at the label - twice the price for half the chocolate.

I'll stick on 90

I bought my husband a bar of chocolate with chilli. My 95% was £2.49, never checked the price of his until I was unpacking the bag.... OVER £5 That will be the first and last time I buy it for him!

It happens to us all! I posted a similar post about chocolate cake recently. Put it behind you and don't play the blame game - the more you do that the more chocolate you will want!

Personally the 99% is a step too far, just don't like it

Dear Laurenvanessa24,
I'm type 2 too, I completely understand how you feel, it's very hard.
Lately, when I crave sweets or chocolate I force myself to watch videos of foot complications caused by diabetes
and the shock stops me from eating even the smallest piece of candy.
I don't know if it's a good method, but it works.
Ciao

You didn't miss much I think it feels just like pressed cocoa powder, not a bit like chocolate.
