I hope people don't mind me posting this. I am not diabetic but OH is a type 2 so I often read your forum, which I have found very helpful. This is a question about me. During the last four months, I have had three hypo attacks for no apparent reason. However I have been diagnosed with a lump on my thyroid, for which I am seeing a specialist in four weeks. I mentioned this to my OH diabetic doctor and he sent me for blood tests, mainly thyroid and cholesterol. My thyroid levels are within range, albeit on the lowish side. My cholesterol readings were - Total 278, HDL 103, LDL 160, Triglycerides 75. Risk factor 2.7
My question is, should I be worried at my total level and LDL, or is the risk factor more important. I cannot see the doctor at present as he is ill. (Even doctors succumb sometimes)
Thank you
