- TV: don't watch TV, find most programs boring.Don't have a telly now but do watch videos now & then on a monitor.
@liam1955 Do you mind me asking what diet you follow Wil@Squeekyboy - Hi Steve, well for me personally I would do the sit ups - but for you it would be best and safer to see your Doctor first and be guided by his medical advice before you start any exercise programme.I am not sure about the lowering of Cholesterol on the LCHF Diet, I would have thought it may well go up slightly? I don't follow the LCHF Diet - I want to keep my Cholesterol at 3.4 until such time that I see the Liver Specialist in June and if he says I change/alter my diet?
@Squire Fulwood Hi, Steve here...thanks for the info. There have been quite a few people on here who have said that their cholesterol did go down as they progressed with LCHF but mine stayed the same. I console myself by reading the various professors and doctors on the subject. Feinman who says that if you drive your cholesterol down then the body just makes more of it to replace it. Kendrick who says that there never was any research showing a link between cholesterol and CVD and the World Health Organisations graph of about 157 countries that shows more people die with low cholesterol. I took the low point on the death axis and found that 5.6 is about right for living longest.
@liam1955 I'm still not quite there with putting stuff on here & probably put it in the wrong place sometimes but thank you for this info. I'll take a look. Love Smoked Bacon on double cheese burger with loads of onions...can I have that for tea then...without the bread of course?@Squeekyboy - Hi Steve. I used to be 100% Vegetarian for many years - but over the last 2 years I have introduced into my diet: Smoked Bacon cooked to a crisp, Eggs, Mince as in Lasagne and Burgers (love cheeseburgers). There is various diets on the Forum, go to the top of this page and click on Forums, then scroll down until you come to the heading FOOD and NUTRITION - there you will see all sorts of diets, just click on them. There is also threads that members list what they have eaten today which can give you ideas.William.
